KEBBINS POLLARD

FOUNDER/CEO

My Story

Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, and educated within the Orleans Public Schools system, Kebbins began developing his work ethic at an early age, entering the workforce at just 12 years old. His first professional experience was in the restaurant industry at Jonathan’s Restaurant on Rampart Street in 1983. At the age of 20, he relocated to St. Louis, Missouri, where he advanced his career in the culinary field.

While in St. Louis, Kebbins worked as a chef for an investment group, managing approximately 75 employees in high-volume food production operations over a five-year period. Through his leadership and operational expertise, he rose through the ranks to become Executive Chef. During this time, he also pursued higher education at Forest Park Community College, earning an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration in 1988.

In 1991, Kebbins relocated to Iowa, where he designed and managed a large-scale production kitchen for his employer. The facility operated with an $88 million operating budget and contributed to an organization generating approximately $1 billion in annual revenue. This experience further strengthened his management, logistics, and operational development skills.

In 1994, Kebbins transitioned into entrepreneurship by founding his first company, Nightingales Investigation Organization Inc., a firm specializing in security services and VIP protection. He later expanded the company’s operations into Chicago, Illinois, where it operated successfully for several years.

During a challenging period in his life, Kebbins experienced incarceration for five years. Rather than allowing this setback to define him, he used the time to continue developing his skills and knowledge. While incarcerated, he worked in the facility kitchen to maintain his culinary expertise and dedicated significant time to studying business development and criminal law with the goal of contributing to positive change within communities.

During this period, he assisted three formerly incarcerated individuals in establishing LLCs to support their successful reintegration into society as business owners. He also helped two nonprofit organizations reinstate their tax-exempt status. As he prepared for his release, Kebbins began developing the vision for Deliverance International Foundation Inc. (DIF), an organization intended to serve as a transformative example for communities worldwide.

Following his release in 2009, Kebbins founded KP & Associates Consulting Firm. Through this firm, he helped establish five corporations for entrepreneurs in the New Orleans metropolitan area, including two nonprofit organizations. These accomplishments were achieved prior to the formal legal establishment of Deliverance International Foundation Inc.

Since the creation of both organizations, KP has played a key role in coordinating financial backing and distribution for a U.S.-manufactured medical device currently distributed internationally across nine countries. In addition, he has implemented twelve independent revenue systems designed to ensure the long-term financial sustainability of Deliverance International Foundation Inc.

Through his professional experience, entrepreneurial leadership, and commitment to community development, Kebbins “KP” continues to focus on building organizations and opportunities that promote economic growth, empowerment, and positive social impact.
